The Church of the Holy Virgin Mary of Lourdes (Polish: Koci Najwitszej Maryi Panny z Lourdes w Krakowie) is a Roman Catholic church in Krakw, Poland, dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes. It was founded by the Lazarists, and built in 1892-1894 at ul. Misjonarska 37 street in the district of Krowodrza. It has been a parish church since 1923. In interwar Poland, a polyphonic choir was established by the congregation in 1932. The Mariaski Choir has attracted international acclaim for a number of years.

The Holy Virgin Mary is a painting created by Chris Ofili in 1996. It was one of the works included in the Sensation exhibition in London, Berlin and New York in 1997-2000. The subject of the work, and its execution, caused considerable controversy in New York, with Rudolph Giuliani - then Mayor of New York City - describing Ofili's work as "sick". In 1998, Ofili was the first black artist to be awarded the Turner Prize. The painting was sold for 2.9 million ($4.6 million) in June 2015

The Greek Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary Eleousa (Greek: ) is on Derby Road, Nottingham. It is a Grade II listed building. Virgin Mary statue
The people of Maaloula celebrated as a new statue of Mary, mother of Jesus was erected in its centre, replacing the figure destroyed in rebel attacks in 2013. On 13 June 2015, Syrian officials unveiled the new statue of the Virgin Mary, draped in a white robe topped with a blue shawl, her hands lifted in prayer. The fiberglass figure stood at just over 3 metres (10 feet) tall and was placed on the base of the original statue. The statue is titled "Lady of Peace" (Arabic: سيدة السلام‎).
